This beautiful mala consists of polished white water YAK bone disc beads.  Features two sets of counters and is strung on an amazing burgundy cord.
A note about bone beads:  Tibetan nomadic life is hard, and in the cold, there is little to eat.  YAK is the main staple in Nepal and Tibet and when an animal is used for food nothing is wasted.  These amazing bone beads are hand-inlaid by artisans who recycle and reuse everything in daily life and spiritual practice.
This mala measures approximately 20 inches in circumference. Contains 108 disc beads  12mm by 4mm.
